Experienced industry expert takes on responsibility
Martin Struk has built a long and successful career in the construction chemicals and building materials industry. After graduating from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Košice, he began his professional career in 2004 at a cement plant in Turňa nad Bodvou. Just two years later, he joined MC-Bauchemie, where he has since held a variety of positions.
His career development within the company includes roles such as Target Manager for Ready-Mix Concrete, Head of Sales, and other leadership positions, most recently as Sales Director Concrete Industry and authorised signatory. These diverse roles have shaped his comprehensive understanding of market requirements and customer needs.
Seamless transition and clear prospects
The leadership change took place as part of a mutually agreed realignment. Due to health reasons, Michal Lehky decided to step down as Managing Director. At the same time, he remains closely connected to the company and will continue to support MC as an authorised signatory and Key Account Manager, maintaining key customer relationships.
Martin Struk was selected as his successor on the basis of his extensive experience, market knowledge, and well-established network. Since the beginning of 2026, he has already been managing the business on an interim basis, ensuring a smooth transition.
Recognition for long-standing commitment to the concrete industry
In addition to his work at MC, Martin Struk has been actively involved in the concrete industry for many years. In early October 2025, he was honoured at BETON 2025, the largest conference of the concrete and construction industry in Slovakia, in recognition of his long-standing contributions.
Struk has served for many years as Vice-President of the Slovak Association of Ready-Mix Concrete Producers (SAVT), where he is particularly responsible for the Technical Commission. Over the past two decades, he has made a significant contribution to the development of the concrete industry both within MC and through his association activities. The award at BETON 2025 underlines his high level of technical expertise and continuous commitment.
MC focuses on continuity and experience
With the appointment of Martin Struk, MC is placing its trust in continuity and experience in a dynamic market environment. The combination of strategic expertise, many years of service within the company, and regional know-how provides a solid foundation for further development of activities in Slovakia.
